If you thought Sai Kung was only about seafood and sampans, think again. Not only does the town boast a new Dymocks and Classified, it’s also home to Babushka – a fabulous children’s lifestyle shop. Tucked down a lane in the old town and signposted with bougainvillea, Babushka is a lovely white space full of colorful imported (and local) kiddies’ goodies. From Marguerite-Gribouilli wall stickers and matryoshka dolls, to personalised Smudge pencil cases and knitted rattles, this shop is a treasure trove of high quality children’s lifestyle products, all beautifully presented.
